Return transfers may be requested but on certain conditions or some spas do not have it at all. In that case users are required to hire a taxi or a driver individually. Transfer details will be noted in the reply e-mail after submitting the booking. If you require transfer service please call the Bali Information Centre upon arrival in Bali, for final confirmation of pick up location and time. ※Please be noted that without this call, users will not be provided with any transfer service. Please double check the pickup time and place. Especially if you are sharing a car with other guests the driver will not be able to wait once you are late. In case you missed the spa treatment due to late arrival to pickup point, it will be treated as cancellation on the day and will be subject to 100% cancellation fee. Some spa company transfer cars take round trips around specific areas and the pickup time will vary according to which hotel you are staying in. Getting off from these transfer cars in the middle of transfer to go shopping or sightseeing is not allowed. Tax and service charges differ with each spa. Please be noted that tax and service charges are not included in the published price. ■ Others ・In case of last minute booking, there may be risks of miscommunication due to network problems that frequently occur in Bali. Q&A When using the free transfer service, is it possible to ask to be picked up at a different place and not the hotel? It will depend on each spa policy, but some do provide such service. However, most spa company drivers do not speak English and there is a risk that they will not find you, especially in crowded places such as shops and department stores. We recommend to be picked up at your hotel. Is there anything to prepare before the spa treatment? Some spas have pools, saunas and jacuzzis so it will be convenient to bring a swim suit. If nothing is written in the spa details it is not necessary to prepare anything before the treatment. Normally spas do not provide make up so if you prefer to wear make up after the treatment, it will be better to bring it with you. Do you need to wear swim wear during the treatment? As long as they do not mention it, it is not necessary. However if the treatment includes bathing, some spas recommend to bring a swim suit. Also most spas have disposable shorts and gowns to wear. For more information please contact Bali Information service. Are there any restrictions regarding health conditions? You may be asked to refrain from treatments according to certain health conditions. We will contact your preferred spa about it so please let us know your condition. Can men have spa treatments? It is normal for men to receive treatments in Bali. However please be noted that there are some “Ladies only ” spa menus. Can I have treatment in the same room with my friend? Yes, it will depend on each spa but if the booking is made for two, whether friends or couples it is likely that you have the same room. If there is no special request, the spa side will decide which room to use so if you have specific requests, please inform prior to booking. Can I take my children with me? Most spas allow children to join. However it different according to each spa so please contact us for details. I have allergy, is it possible to have a treatment? If you have allergy please send us an inquiry or inform your spa counselor on the day of your spa. I wear contact lens and have hair extensions, can I have spa treatment? Yes, please inform us upon booking or inform your spa counselor on the day then your therapist will treat you accordingly. Is there a spa I can use late at night? Please refer to work hours in the “Detailed information” of each spa. Use of cell phones Spas are meant to be a quiet and calm place for relaxation. In concern for each person’s privacy and for tranquility, some spas ban the use of cell phones. Please refrain from using electric goods that make noise inside the spa facility. Do we need to tip? Service charges are included in the price. But if you received satisfying service it is ok to show thanks to your therapist with a tip. The average is around Rp.10,000～Rp.20,000. Where should I keep my personal belongings? Each spas have safes to keep valuables but it is best recommended to leave necklaces, bracelets, watches, rigs, earrings in your hotel safe just in case.
