Kertha Gosa is located in the heart of Semarapura town and its name taken from Kertha (peace) and Gosa (announcement) together meaning courthouse. It is famous for the pavilion with its ceilings painted with scenes from the Bhima Swarga story in Balinese Klung klung style, an inferno showing the result of committing crimes such as sexual assault and thievery.
