One of the four Botanical garden networks in Indonesia, Kebun Raya Bali has an area of 157.5 hectares (389 acres), a car will be required to see all the property. It is a unique place featuring not only the plants of Bali but from mountainous areas of East Java and exotic plants from all around Indonesia. There are 1500 species more than 16000 plants, especially the collection of 340 kinds of orchids are a must see. Many families and couples come to visit on weekends.
