The temple complex comprised of 10 rock-cut candi (shrines) carved into the cliff face. The 7-metres high niches cut into the sheer cliff face is said to have been carved by the legendary giant Kubo using its own finger nails. It is thought to be dedicated to King Anak Wungsu of the Udayana dynasty. You will find hundreds of stairs going down that lead to the kings and queens graves carved on both sides of the Pakurisan river banks. Recommended for those who do not mind going up and down many stairs.
