Well known as a village for producing baskets and chairs made from bamboo and coconuts. But even more famous for Kacak and Sanghyang (trance) dance performances. Originally these dances were magical ceremonies served to god in case of natural disasters and health problems, although it has become a touristic attraction, to see the way the dancers go into trance should be a valuable experience.
