    Desa Tenganan

    The village of Tenganan is famous as an aboriginal village known as Bali Aga. An important part of Bali Aga culture is the complex Tie-dye technique used to make Bali’s traditional geringsing double ikat. Bali’s Tenganan village is the only village that today still produces geringsing. In geringsing, both the cotton warp and weft threads are carefully dyed and cross-dyed before weaving; the finished pattern only emerges as the cloth is woven. It is believed that geringsing has the power to prevent diseases and evil spirits.

    Bali Bird Park

    Encompassing two hectares of botanical landscape, the Bali Bird park provides sanctuary to almost 1000 birds of 250 different species.     Elephant Safari Park

    A park specialized for rescued Sumatran Elephants, you can interact with them as though they are in the wild. Trekking around the park on top of the giant will be an experience you will never forget. The park accommodates 3o elephants including 3 babies naturally bred as part of the breeding program aimed to preserve the endangered species. One more is due to arrive early 2013. You are able to feed, touch, take pictures with them and also watch them play in the lake with 4 Elephant shows daily. An exclusive Elephant experience you will not find anywhere else in the world.

    Bali Safari & Marine Park

    One of the most full scaled safari parks on the island, featuring Lions, Elephants, Tigers, Giraffes, Rhinoceros, Hippopotamus, Crocodiles…The main attraction is the Komodo dragon?     Kebun Raya Bali

    One of the four Botanical garden networks in Indonesia, Kebun Raya Bali has an area of 157.5 hectares (389 acres), a car will be required to see all the property. It is a unique place featuring not only the plants of Bali but from mountainous areas of East Java and exotic plants from all around Indonesia. There are 1500 species more than 16000 plants, especially the collection of 340 kinds of orchids are a must see. Many families and couples come to visit on weekends.

    Monkey Forest

    Literally a forest with monkeys, there are around 200 monkeys living here. There are 3 groups of monkeys each with a boss, occupying different territories in the park. Peanuts and bananas are available at the entrance but one must be careful with their belongings such as glasses and wallets. You will occasionally hear cries from the victims of the cheeky monkeys.

    A park located in the district of Denpasar city administration. Every morning the field was crowded by people who walking and be relaxing place for residents of the city.     Air Panas Angseri

    Angseri Hot Springs nestled between lush rice paddies and small streams, precisely in Banjar Munduk Lumbang, Angseri Village. Previously used only as a traditional bathhouse by the local people, now transformed into a comfortable bathing area with pools and hot springs, and 2 private bathing area. The water temperature is 40 degrees, quite hot for a hot spring in Bali. Visiting the near by Batukau temple, lush rice terraces will be nice too, both only about 4-5 km away.
