Smaller scale compared to Jatiluih, but it is said to be the most beautiful rice terrace view in Bali. You will experience a magnificent view spreading from the side of the road. Planting, cultivating, harvesting is done all year round and you will get a relatively good view whenever you visit. It is understandable that these paddies are conserved by federal funding from the Bali state.
Jatiluwih deserves its name, meaning “Truly Marvelous” in Balinese. The cascading terraces of rice fields are the most striking features of the landscape. Stretching all the way from the foothill of Batukaru volcano to the south coast sea. The cool western uplands, overlooking half of the island, offers magnificent views you will never forget. If you choose a lucky spot you will get 360 degrees view of rice fields.
